As part of its defence strategy, the Swiss Army has built various fortresses and bunkers, this facility in the German-speaking part of Switzerland was used as a command post. The underground facility comprised general offices for military command activities as well as bedrooms and common rooms including kitchen, sanitary rooms, etc.
The bunker has been recently renewed, the capacity was designed for over 180 people.
It is a completely underground unit that will keep many assets safe and secure from outside dangers. It is designed to withstand any force. The units are fitted with security doors and encased in steel.
